My role at Inspiring Learning, therefore, finally enables me to make my own small contribution to the world of learning."

"I have two daughters now aged 16 and 13 and I have seen first hand how important a well balanced education is to their development as confident young girls who have the courage to take on new things. Outdoor residential centres have been an important element of this and I have always enjoyed hearing their sense of delight when they have overcome and conquered their initial fears. We aim to bring out the best in everyone through active learning and this has to be a good thing for our nation's young people."

"I am a big believer in Kingswood’s Theory of Change. I attended an outdoor education centre for several days when I was 12 years old near where I grew up in Connecticut, USA. The experience of being away from home and being challenged with high rope activities, obstacle courses and all of the other adventures that were made available provided me with an important sense of independence and a boost to my self-confidence. I am pleased to be working with the team at Kingswood to expand our geographical reach so that we can provide these important life experiences to as many young people in the UK as possible.”
